Meet Suze Maclaine Pont – Founder of the Academy of Soul Healing
Originally trained as a shipbuilding engineer, I’m also a mother of two radiant, wise humans (now 18 and 19). I never set out to become a therapist, a coach, or a speaker. I just wanted to feel safe… being me. Among people.
At 14, I gave a talk in front of 1000 people. You could hear a pin drop. The silence wasn’t awkward — it was sacred. Dozens came up to me during the break, moved to tears by something I’d said. Not because it was profound. But because I was real.
But I wasn’t ready. I shut down. That kind of intimacy — that level of being seen — was terrifying. After a childhood of emotional overwhelm and disconnection, the attention felt like danger. So I made a vow: Never again.
By 23, I was suicidal. I couldn’t see a reason to stay. But at 25, I made a new vow — to truly live. Not just survive, perform, or get by. But LIVE. Fully. To find out who I really was beneath the masks — and to reclaim her.
So I went deep. I studied everything from transactional analysis and NLP to family constellations, trauma therapy, compassionate inquiry, and psychosynthesis. But more than that — I LIVED it. I took every single medicine I now teach.
When I worked on innovation teams, people started coming to me — not for project advice, but for life wisdom. They asked about love. About purpose. About truth. That’s when I saw it: the true gift wasn’t what I did. It was who I was becoming.
The presence they felt on stage when I was 14?
That was my medicine.
And it scared me — until I let it lead.
Today, I speak internationally, lead transformational retreats, and mentor leaders and practitioners from all over the world in trauma therapy, soul-led storytelling, and embodied business.
I teach them how to run their business in full alignment, work deeply with clients, and show up in front of any audience with unapologetic presence.
I’m Not For Everyone…
Some say I’m “a LOT.” I’m highly gifted, relentlessly curious, and I associate FAST. I’m a meaning-maker, always connecting the dots, going to the root. Learning is my oxygen. And so is depth.
That means: I’ve taken all the courses. I’ve lived all the lessons. I’ve burned down my identity more than once. And I’ve rebuilt from the ashes every time.
I’ve been an entrepreneur for 25 years. I’ve danced with despair, with loss, with wild expansion. My grandmother — who lived through two world wars — once said:
“You’ve been through more than I have in a lifetime.”
What makes me great at what I do is this:
I walk what I teach.
I live what I say.
And when I speak, it’s not just words. It’s transmission.
That’s what I’ll teach you, too.
Not how to say the thing.
But how to be the thing — so that your presence becomes the point.

Hoeve de Kempe – Suzes private estate farmhouse in the middle of nature, one hour east of the Netherlands. You will truly have a full week to yourself, to find your stories, and to practice in the peace and quiet of a sacred embrace.
