What if It’s Not Burnout? Recognizing the Hidden Role of Trauma (also available in Dutch)
Discover how trauma quietly shapes your clients — and you — and what true healing requires from today’s professionals.
An inspiring 90-minute online session for doctors, therapists, educators, and leaders who work with people every day.
Next date: 5 November 2025 (more dates available at checkout)
Maximum: 20 participants
Time: 10:00–11:30 CET (Amsterdam time) — live on Zoom
You carry your clients, your team, your family — and it looks effortless.
But beneath the surface, you feel the quiet cost.
What if what you call burnout is something deeper —
a nervous system shaped by trauma?
In this live online introduction, trauma therapist and theologian Suze Maclaine Pont shares how to recognize developmental trauma —
and why healing doesn’t mean fixing what’s broken,
but rebuilding the vessel that holds it all.
You’ll discover:
-
How trauma hides beneath exhaustion and perfectionism
-
What it truly takes to create safety and connection — for yourself and others
-
The next steps to work with Suze in person or through her training programs
A 90-minute live Zoom introduction with Suze Maclaine Pont
Held every first Wednesday morning of the month

Walking on Glass
Perhaps you recognize this in your work:
You see clients, patients, or students getting stuck — but despite all your knowledge and effort, little really changes.
You sense there’s something underneath you can’t quite reach.
You wonder how to truly meet people beyond their defenses.
In most cases, it’s developmental trauma — deeply rooted early experiences that continue to shape behavior, health, and the ability to learn or connect.
During this online introduction, you’ll discover how to recognize these patterns, understand their impact, and begin working with them in a way that brings real transformation.
After This Session
You will:
-
Recognize the key signs that point to developmental trauma.
-
Understand why traditional interventions often fail to create lasting change.
-
Gain new ways to help people reconnect with their natural resilience.
➡️ You’ll leave with insights you can apply immediately — and a clear sense of what becomes possible when you deepen this understanding through the Integrative Trauma Training.

Who This Session Is For
This online session is for anyone who works professionally with people and encounters trauma — yet doesn’t always know how to meet it.
Doctors, teachers, coaches, therapists, pastors, and leaders are all welcome.
You may come from a different field than the person next to you, but you’ll likely find that your question is the same at its core:
How do I truly help someone — beyond what is visible?
Developmental trauma shows up everywhere: in the consulting room, in the classroom, and in the therapy space.
By exploring this together, you’ll learn from multiple perspectives and discover how universal this theme really is.
I’m Suze Maclaine Pont
Theologian, trauma specialist, leadership trainer, and originally trained as a shipbuilding engineer.
For more than twenty years, I’ve worked with people who seem to have it all together on the outside — yet feel stuck or disconnected inside.
I developed a unique approach to recognizing and working with developmental trauma — without needing to re-live the entire story of pain.
This online introduction offers a first experience of my method — and an opportunity to discover whether the Integrative Trauma Training could be your next step.
