WHY I DO THE THING I DO…
“There is nothing more powerful than the moment you stop performing strength — and let yourself be held”
— Suze Maclaine Pont, Shipbuilder for your Soul and Trauma Therapiost for High Functioning Professionals
What if you could build
your dream business without sacrificing your family
or financial security?
“What if you could build
your dream business without sacrificing your family or financial security?”

Are you compromising your own energy, talents and dreams because your family really needs you?

Are you holding off what you KNOW you should be doing because there is always something more urgent with kids, projects, your spouse or ‘life’?

Are you afraid of losing everything you built up if you were to answer your inner calling!

From Steel to Soul — And Back Again
You’re the one everyone relies on.
The leader. The safe pair of hands. The one who makes it all look effortless.
I know, because I was that person too.
I could grow revenue, manage huge projects, and bring people together with ease. I had freedom in my calendar, money in the bank, and the admiration of people who thought I’d “figured it out.”
But here’s the truth:
I was running on empty.
I was lonely in my own success.
And I had built a life I could manage — but not one I could truly live.
The First Real Test
When I became pregnant, everything changed.
The systems I’d built couldn’t hold the sacredness of life — not mine, not my child’s.
I thought I had two choices:
-
Keep earning and disconnect from myself.
-
Stay connected and sacrifice what I’d built.
Neither felt like living.
That was my first initiation into soul-led living — a pivot that had nothing to do with strategy, and everything to do with presence.
When It All Fell Apart — and Came Together
Not long after, I met Jakko — the man who would become my husband.
He was willing to stand with me… but I didn’t know how to let love in.
Debt was growing. My business was faltering. I was exhausted.
Like so many smart, capable people, I tried to fix it:
✔ Work harder
✔ Learn more
✔ Push through
But nothing worked — because the real problem wasn’t out there.
It was the relationship I had with life itself.
The moment I stopped trying to fix and started listening, everything shifted.
I let God back in.
I let love back in.
And I began to rebuild — from the inside out.

A Few Things That Make Me… Me
I live tucked away in the countryside of the Netherlands, where the air is still enough for the Soul to breathe.
I’m married to Jakko — a trauma therapist with a heart as steady as his presence — and together we raise our children in a home filled with honesty, laughter, and long, slow meals that stretch into the evening.
I still build ships. Not from steel anymore, but from stories, presence, and truth. My favorite is the self-righting rescue vessel — a boat designed to capsize, and always return. That’s how I see the human spirit.
My kitchen is often alive with the sound of retreat participants chopping vegetables, singing, and sharing quiet moments over simmering pots. I believe healing happens as much in these moments between sessions as it does in the deep work itself.
I am endlessly drawn to Hebrew Kabbalah, Christian mysticism, and ancient texts — to the art of threading spiritual truth through the small, ordinary cracks of daily life.
And I cry easily when someone finally returns to themselves. It never stops feeling holy.
The Shipbuilder for Your Soul
I began my career as a naval architect — designing vessels that could survive any storm.
Now, I help people become those vessels.
Not with steel, but with presence, story, and truth.
Like the self-righting rescue ship — built to flip and always return — I help high-functioning, high-responsibility humans return to themselves.
Because survival isn’t the same as freedom.
And success without soul will quietly break your heart.
What I Teach — and Why
I don’t hand people tools.
I walk them back to what they never lost:
-
Your power.
-
Your peace.
-
Your truth.
The system I’ve built healed my relationship with love, time, presence, and leadership.
It now lives in everything I teach — from my 1:1 Sacred Reset to the Sacred Pause Retreat, from Speaking Miracles to my two-year Integrative Trauma Therapy Certification.
If you’re here, you’re probably already feeling it:
What got you here will not get you home.
And pushing harder isn’t strength — it’s delay.

If You’re Still Reading, You’re Already Being Called
Something in you already knows:
It’s time to come home.
Not to start over, but to remember who you are when the noise quiets and the soul leads.
I’ll walk beside you — not to lead, but to mirror back who you already are.
Welcome home.
